Who We Are

The Young Family Fellowship (YFF) of St. Peters Mar Thoma Church, Washington Township, New Jersey, is a warm and welcoming community of young families walking together in faith, love, and Christian fellowship. The Young Family Fellowship is a vibrant gathering of young families, addressing cultural challenges, familial roles, and faith responses. Through fellowship, support, and spiritual growth, it strengthens bonds and guides families to live rooted in Christ's love.

As part of the broader Mar Thoma tradition, the YFF at St. Peters serves as a nurturing space where young couples and families can find community, grow in their faith, and support one another through the joys and challenges of everyday life.

Our Mission

The Young Family Fellowship looks at bringing together young families of the church and providing an opportunity to share their spiritual experiences, as well as spending time to understand the value of Christian fellowship. The fellowship looks at bringing more families together, which strengthens the foundation of the church and serving God through spiritual family life.

We believe that strong families build a strong church, and a strong church transforms communities. The YFF is committed to helping each family grow deeper in their relationship with Christ while also growing closer to one another.

What We Do

The Young Family Fellowship conducts Bible studies and discussion hours, as well as looks at supporting families during difficult times. YFF meetings include English and Malayalam songs, Bible response reading, and enriching discussions, with inspiring messages delivered under the guidance of the Vicar and Youth Chaplain. The fellowship also participates in outreach activities, including mission projects that extend care and love to children and families in need, both locally and around the world.
