INDIA MISSION TRIP 2026

The Mar Thoma Mission Board of the Diocese of North America of the Mar Thoma Church is organizing the 2026 India Mission Trip to various mission fields in Andhra Pradesh and South Karnataka from July 3 to 15, 2026 (inclusive of travel). The mission trip will include visits to mission fields of the Mar Thoma Church in Hyderabad/Secunderabad, Chagalamarri, Bangalore, and surrounding areas. Youth members between the ages of 18 and 35 are encouraged to participate. A limited number of participants below 18 years of age will be permitted if accompanied by a parent or guardian. This will be a valuable opportunity for our youth to gain a deeper understanding of the church's mission work and to learn how they can become actively involved in such mission initiatives.

Participants will be responsible for purchasing their own air tickets to India and should plan to travel from the USA/Canada by July 3rd and arrive in Hyderabad on July 5th. Final departure will be from Bangalore on July 15th. Upon completion of the trip and submission of the receipts, participants will be reimbursed by the Mar Thoma Mission Board for one-half of the airfare, up to a maximum of $1,000.00. Local transportation, food, and accommodation in India will be arranged, and each participant will be required to contribute an amount of $500.00 to meet these expenses. This amount should be remitted before the commencement of the trip as instructed by the Convener/Team Leaders.

The last date for registration will be March 31, 2026, and the total number of participants will be twenty (including leaders/chaperones), on a first come basis.
